What is a goal?

         A goal can be both short term and long term.It can involve students everyday work or be planning to achieve something in a month or a year by a person.But, most of the time it was seen that our mind pictured lots of goals at a single time and end up by achieving nothing.Multiple small goals can help a student which are applicable in everyday life from doing homework to completing a lesson.But to set a specific long-term goal, struggling for many days is sometimes difficult for many nowadays with a busy time schedule.In this article, the people who are confused about short term or long term goal for future or have multiple aims and are not able to decide to choose which one is better for them will be helpful.

        By setting goals it will help in your life to be productive.It not only enhance the lives of students. It also helps him/her in achieving it, in improving academic achievement and self-confidence.It also motivates and works as one of the methods for self-learning by realizing your own potential to achieve those goals.

Tips for setting your Goals

        Make a list of minimum 5 to 10 prominent goals ready in a blank page which you want to achieve by numbering it as from 1 to 5 or 1 to 10.By doing this it helps you to draw a mental picture of your goals in a written way and focus on it in a more productive way.
        Then try to look at your list and cut it from the bottom part which is less important or secondary goal for you one by one and keep the most important one or the primary one at the last.
      By this list, at last, you can set your goal and even can set your aims too -
Let us prepare the list for an example-
1.The most prominent one
2.Second most prominent one
3. Third goal
4. Forth goal
5. Fifth goal
      By this way, you will able to set your most prominent goal or aim in your life.By cutting down the goals from second to third one you will be able to focus on the present goals and then can move towards the other goals after achieving the first one.
